Île-de-France is a region of France that contains Paris and the surrounding area. Multiple flags are used to represent it.
The flag used by the regional council is a white field with the region's logo, consisting of a red eight-pointed star (representing the eight departments) and the text "Île de France".
An unofficial flag, based on the monarchical coat of arms of France, consists of three fleurs-de-lis on a blue field; it represents the region's origin as a crown land of the kings of France.
