the flag of the department of ñeembucú is horizontal tricolor of red, white and green.
- red: represents the represents the blood shed by our heroes of the War against the Triple Alliance.
- white: the color of cotton, a tribute and deserved gratitude to the most important and worthy source of work of several generations. Industrial emporium that has allowed the economic consolidation and comprehensive development of citizens. The white also symbolizes, the peace, the union and the brotherhood citizens. in the center of that strip is the department's emblem.
- green: It symbolizes the rich natural heritage, represented by the weighted wetlands. An invaluable reserve of water on the planet, made up of rivers, streams, estuaries, lagoons and springs that allow the development of a rich native flora and fauna, different from the rest of the country. The natural paradise of Ñeembucú, is a rich source of life in biodiversity, characterized by its typography of wide domain of flat areas.
