The flag has a 2:3 proportion, with a plain golden yellow (#FFBB34) field and an altered provincial seal on the center of the flag. The flag also features a line of sans-serif text shaped as an arc, curving downward with the words, "PROVINCE OF AKLAN" across the top of the flag.
