Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. Its flag is a Blue Ensign with the territory's coat of arms in the fly.

The coat of arms, adopted in 1990, consists of a white field with three orange dolphins over a turquoise blue base. White represents peace and tranquility; blue represents the Caribbean Sea, faith, youth and hope; and orange represents endurance, unity and strength.[1]

The shield design is based on the flag of the unrecognised Republic of Anguilla, which existed between 1967 and 1969. This flag, nicknamed the Dolphin Flag or Three Dolphins Flag, is still unofficially used on the island.
