Astana is the capital city of Kazakhstan.

The flag of Astana consist of a light blue background with the coat of arms of Astana surrounded by yellow rays in the center.
The ratio of the flag’s width to length was 1:2.
Symbolism[]
The emblem in the centre of the flag is the city's coat of arms, adopted the same day as the flag. The blue and yellow colours used on the flag's field are the national colours of Kazakhstan.
