The Flag of Baja California Sur ("South Lower California") Is Official Since December 31, 2017.
The flag of the state is, like most current Mexican state flags, the coat of arms centered on a white field.
The coat of arms of Baja California Sur was addopted in 1975, a year after it became a state (it was a territory before).

With the Pacific to the west and the Sea of Cortez to the east, the predominant arid climate is represented with yellow; meanwhile, the shell's location is relative to the position of the state in the penninsula, green represents the Sierra de la Laguna. By Ricardo Vazoli, 2016.
I represented the peninsula with two rectangles with the colors from the original flag. Yellow for sand, red for earth and blue for the sea around. I also drew the shell and the fishes. Tinycop. 2017.
