Boston is the capital and most populous city in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States.

The flag of Boston is a sky blue field with a colored version of the city's seal in the center.

History[]
The city flag was originally used in the 1913 Columbus Day celebration and other holidays in an unofficial capacity for three years until it was officially adopted by the city government on January 29, 1917.
2004 NAVA survey[]
The flag scored 1.33 on the 2004 NAVA city flag survey, behind Tacoma, Washington, and ahead of Juneau, Alaska.
