The Flag of Cauca Departament consists of three stripes, the upper and lower ones being of a simple color (green) and the central one of a yellow. It was adopted by means of Decree 386 of 1968.
Green: symbolizes the fruits, Plains And Mountains of the Departament.
Yellow: symbolize the sun and all riches.
