The Flag of Chocó Department It is a horizontal tricolour of green, yellow and blue. The yellow stripe takes up the top half of the flag and the blue and red take up a quarter of the space each. It is a triband flag with horizontal bands colored Green, Yellow and Blue. Vertically the Green occupies 50% and the other 50% is shared by the Yellow and Blue colors in equal proportion.
Green: Symbolizes the wealth from forests and jungles.
Yellow: Symbolizes the gold wealth of the lands and mines.
Blue: Symbolyzes abundance of water resources as well as the two seas.
