The flag of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a white background with 3 blue wavy stripes. In the center is a "C" with buckeye leaves above. Inside the "C" is a sword and a winged rod with two serpents crossing. On top of the sword and the rod, are liberty scales splitting the motto "Juncta Juvant".

Symbolism[]

The blue waves represent the Ohio River, upon which the city was founded. The red "C" in the center stands for Cincinnati and a red buckeye leaf rests atop the letter to symbolize the State of Ohio. The center of the C features the seal of Cincinnati as it was at the flag's introduction in 1896.

FC Cincinnati Flag[]

The flag is the same as the current flag, but with the colors changed to blue, white, and orange. The flag was used to represent the MLS team FC Cincinnati. An inverse version also exists too, with the blue and orange both swapped.

2004 NAVA survey[]

The flag ranked 22nd on the 2004 NAVA city flag survey, with a score of 6.26 out of 10.
