The flag of Coconino County features the centennial logo on a white field. It uses the Coconino County seal. The seal contains two brown ribbons coming from each side of the seal. The left ribbon contains the year Coconino County was founded. The ribbon on the right has the year Coconino County turned 100 years old. The seal has the name of the county on the top with punctuation separating the words. At the bottom it says the word "Centennial". In the middle of the seal is a scene with various types environments. These include clouds, mountains, deserts, rivers, and plains. This represents the diverse natural beauty of Coconino County. The logo was designed by Dina Derker, and thus is also the flag's designer. Frank Yarborough created the seal, most likely sometime in the 1950s or 1960s.

The flag of Coconino County was adopted on the county's centennial year in 1991.
