Dobong District (Korean: 도봉구; RR: Dobong-gu) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, bordering the cities of Yangju and Uijeongbu to the north and the districts of Gangbuk to the southwest and Nowon to the east.

Description[]

The flag of Dobong District is a white background with the district's logo in the center atop a text which reads "도봉구" (RR: Dobong-gu) in black.

Symbolism[]

The logo represents the hope of Dobong-gu, a district anticipated for continuous development and prosperity, where nature and urban life coexist harmoniously. The blue sky symbolizes clean water and air, reflecting Dobong-gu’s identity as a district where nature and the city thrive together.

The three mountains depicted in the logo represent Seonin-bong Peak, Jaun-bong Peak, and Manjang-bong Peak, which are among the notable peaks of Dobongsan Mountain in Seoul. These mountains signify Dobong-gu's vibrant and prosperous character. Additionally, the hill in the logo symbolizes a clean earth surface, representing the solid, unified foundation of the city and Dobong-gu, promising limitless development.
