The flag of the state of Campeche is, like most current Mexican state flags, the coat of arms centered on a white field.

The coat of arms of Campeche is identical to the arms of its capital, the city of San Francisco de Campeche, which was granted in 1777 by Charles III of Spain. The shield is divided into four sections; the first and fourth quarters consist of a castle on a red field, and the second and third quarters consist of a galleon on a blue field. The shield has a blue border which is ornamented with the cord of Saint Francis of Assisi. The crest is a royal crown.
