The Flag of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania is similar to the flag of the Republic of South Ossetia. It is a rectangular banner consisting of three stripes of white, red and yellow colors, one third of the width of the flag each, arranged horizontally from top to bottom. The ratio of the width of the flag to its length is 1: 2.

Yellow: Represents the abundance, wealth and prosperity.
