Finnmark (Northern Sami: Finnmárku; Kven: Finmarku; Finnish: Ruija; Russian: Финнмарк) is a county (fylke) in northern Norway.
On 1 January 2020 it was merged with the neighboring Troms county to create the new Troms og Finnmark county. On 1 January 2024, the counties of Finnmark and Troms were restored after a decision made by parliament on 15 June 2022 to separate them.
The flag of Finnmark is a banner of arms, with a black field with a gold-colored castle tower. The official blazon reads, "Sable, a single-towered castle Or". The design is from 1967 and shows the old Vardøhus Fortress, historically on the eastern border with Russia.
