The French Southern and Antarctic Lands (Terres australes et antarctiques françaises or TAAF) are a collection of islands in the Indian Ocean, and are together the only overseas territory of France. It also includes Adélie Land, France's claim to Antarctica.
Description[]
The flag, adopted in 2007, is a blue field with the flag of France in the canton. In the bottom right are the letters "TAAF", arranged in the form of an anchor and surrounded by five stars. It is a logo used by the islands.
