Gangseo District (Korean: 강서구; RR: Gangseo-gu) is one of the 15 districts of Busan, located in the westernmost part of the city.
Description[]
The flag of Gangseo District is a white background with the district's logo in the center atop a text which reads "부산광역시 강서구" in black.
Symbolism[]
The central waves symbolize the sea's development potential and its abundant resources. The three birds represent a migratory bird habitat. The semicircle at the top center signifies the sun, embodying hope and prosperity for the future. The expanding borders illustrate the growth and future development of the nine neighborhoods of the district.
