Gangseo District (Korean: 강서구; RR: Gangseo-gu) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, bordering Goyang to the north, Yeongdeungpo and Mapo to the east, Yangcheon and Bucheon to the south, and Gimpo and Gyeyang to the west.

Description[]

The flag of Gangseo District is a white background with the district's logo in the center atop a text which reads "강서구" (RR: Gangseo-gu) in black.

Symbolisn[]

The green color at the bottom of the logo represents the abundant green spaces and comfort, while the blue color in the middle reflects the initial consonants of Gangseo-gu, which are "ㄱ" (giyeok) and "ㅅ" (siot). The red circle at the top symbolizes Gangseo-gu's development into a new hub of the capital city.
