The flag of Glendale is the city's logo in a white background.
Current flag (1990-Present)[]
The flag of Glendale is the city logo on a white field. There are three rectangles with crosses, the intersection of the lines become circles. One of the four quadrants are also missing from the shapes. The shapes are supposedly meant to represent pillars, but I see a city skyline more then pillars. Under that is turqoise text saying the city name. The "A" is colored copper and uses a script-like font unlike the other letters. The "A" is used for both the city name and the Arizona state initials. The "Z" uses the same font and color as the "A". The Turquoise color represents the the gem with the same name that was commonly found here. The coper color represents the wealth of both the city and the area.
First flag (unknown-1990)[]
The first flag of Glendale is the seal on a white field. The seal contains the cities name on the top, and Arizona's name on the bottom. The seal features an outline of Arizona in orange. There are sunrays radiating from the location of Glendale on the map. There are also mountains which split the rays in half. To the right is a family of three looking into the distance towards Glendale. under that family is the incorporation year of Glendale, that being 1910.
