Gwanak District (Korean: 관악구; RR: Gwanak-gu) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, bordering Dongjak to the north, Seocho to the east, Anyang and Gwacheon across Gwanaksan to the south, and Geumcheon and Guro to the west.

Description[]

The flag of Gwanak District is a white background with the district's logo in the center atop a text which reads "관악구" (RR: Gwanak-gu) in black.

Symbolism[]

The oval shape symbolizes the overall health of the citizens, while the peak of Gwanaksan Mountain and the stamens of azalea flowers represent the service and kindness of the community. The colors blue and green reflect the clean environment and the love for nature that Gwanak-gu residents have as they live in harmony with their surroundings.
