Horst aan de Maas is a municipality in the province of Limburg, Netherlands.
Description[]
The flag of Horst aan de Maas consists of seven stripes in yellow and black, with a white stripe at 2/7 of the flag's length, the length of which is equal to 2/7 of the flag's length, on which there are five red medlar flowers with golden centres.
Symbolism[]
The flowers and colours are taken from the municipal coat of arms. Both the coat of arms and the flag were designed by the Heraldry Committee of the Limburg Historical and Archaeological Society (LGOG). The flag was drawn by Piet Bultsma.
