The Flag of Kirovohrad Oblast Is Official Since July 29, 1998.
This is a rectangular panel with an aspect ratio of 2: 3. Divided vertically into two equal parts; from the shaft on a crimson field a yellow steppe (Scythian) eagle with its head turned to the shaft, from the other edge - a yellow field. The authors of the coat of arms and flag are V. Krivenko and G. Shlyakhovy.
