The flag of Kosovo is a blue background with 6 stars on the top and a golden colored map of Kosovo. The blue colour in the flag of the state of Kosovo represents the goals of the people of Kosovo for the Euro-Atlantic integration. The gold represents Kosovo as a rich and peaceful country, and the stars symbolize Kosovo's six major ethnic groups: Albanians, Serbs, Bosniaks, Turks, Romani, and Gorani, however, unofficially, the stars are sometimes said to represent the six regions.
