Lajedo is a municipality and a city in the state of Pernambuco in Brazil.
History[]
The Flag of Lajedo was instituted by Municipal Law No. 345, of November 17, 1966, and sanctioned on April 2, 1974.
Description and Symbolism[]
On the left side is green; on the right, red. Both represent hope for better days and the passion of the struggles fought for political independence. The white sphere, in the center, represents peace, symbolizing the peaceful nature of the people. Inside it is the coat of arms.
