The flag of Lebanon, was adopted in 7 December 1943. It's a white background with two red stripes of red on the top and bottom, with a depiction of a cedar tree in green in the center.

The white color on the flag represents the snow as a symbol of purity and peace. The two red stripes refer to the Lebanese blood shed to preserve the country against the successive invaders. The cedar tree is the symbol of steadiness and immortality.
