The flag of Mesa, Arizona, is a blue background with a yellow sun with a cactus in it with a mesa in the bottom. The city adopted an unnofficial flag in 2004 and and official one in 2005.

The flag of Mesa is a Blue field with a yellow mesa. A yellow sunburst is also seen rising over the Mesa, and inside that sun is a saguaro cactus.
First flag[]
The first flag was adopted in 2004. It is a white field with the former logo of Mesa on it. The logo has an red, and blue square with a white v-shaped line separating them. The red has orang gradient at the vert bottom of the red. Next to square is the city's name in black. under the square and the city name are the words: "Great People, Quality Service" I would say, everything except this flag is quality service.
2004 NAVA survey[]
The flag was featured in the 2004 NAVA U.S. City Flags survey, which Mesa was ranked 146 out of 150, and a score of 1.73. Making it the 5th worst city flag in America. The flag was changed in 2005, most likely as the result of the survey.
