The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (Azerbaijani: Naxçıvan Muxtar Respublikası) is a landlocked exclave of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Official Flag[]
As specified in the Constitution adopted on 12 November 1995, the official flag of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Unofficial Flag[]
During the early 1990s, a flag similar to the flag of Azerbaijan was reported, in which the green stripe and the white star and crescent of the Azerbaijani flag were replaced with yellow, and the proportions of the stripes were altered. It appears that this was simply an unofficial variant of the Azerbaijani flag.
