The flag of the Nation of Islam, also known as 'The National', represents the universe and universal peace and harmony. On some variants of the flag, the letters 'J', 'F', 'E', and 'I' are depicted, meaning 'Justice, Freedom, Equality and Islam'. The flag is inspired by the flag of Turkey, though the Turkish flag depicts the star and crescent facing the fly.
