The national flag of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is one of kind as it is the only national flag to not possess a non-quadrilateral shape, and its no mistake either. These triangles are actually a combination of two triangular pennons on top of one another, one pennon with the moon and one with the sun. The crimson red stands for bravery and is the country's national color. The blue border of the flag signifies peace and harmony, signifying that the bravery is always and on all sides bound with peace. The celestial symbols on the flag expresses the country's stability and the confidence that Nepal will exist for a long time just like Moon and/or the Sun.
