The flag of the region has quartered field with vertical dividing line in 1/3 of the field, the hoist blue over red, the fly yellow over blue. Put in other words - per scandinavian cross blue - yellow - red - blue. The ratio is 2:3 as usual.
Coat of Arms: In a blue shield on a green arm, gold-clad, reclining Cuman, leaning on an elbow with a silver arrow and holding, in a raised (heraldically) left hand, a golden bow. Above him, with his right foot on him, stood a knight dressed in silver armor, wearing a red skirt and girded with a gold belt with a golden sword. The knight has a gold, closed crown on his head, a gold beard, a gold chain on his neck and a silver, battle ax with a gold handle in his (heraldically) right hand. His left hand rests on a red shield with a silver double-armed cross.
