The Pitcairn Islands are a British Overseas Territory in the Polynesia region of Oceania. Their flag is a Blue Ensign with the territory's coat of arms in the fly.
The coat of arms, granted in 1969, consists of a blue field with a green inverted pile outlined in yellow, charged with a book and an anchor. The charges represent the Bible and anchor from HMS Bounty, a Royal Navy ship whose crew settled on Pitcairn after a mutiny in 1789. The crest is a miro flower on a wheelbarrow.
