Ranger is a city in Eastland County, Texas, United States.

History

The official Ranger City Flag idea was brought to the Ranger Incorporation & Charter Signing Centennial planning committee by Gerald Gunstanson. Gunstanson suggested a contest to be held among Ranger ISD students for the flag's design. Sixth grader, Lilliyanna Hernandez's design, which included the Ranger ISD Bulldog mascot, was selected among the 101 entries.
