The Flag of Saint Petersburg is official since September 24, 1994 and modified in May 13, 2003.

The flag of St. Petersburg is a rectangular cloth of red color, in the center of which two inverted white anchors - sea and river, laid crosswise, and on them a golden scepter with a double-headed eagle are depicted.

The color image of the panel is conveyed by a mixture of meerk and cinnabar (the first prevails), the graphic - by vertical lines.

All details of the scepter are shown in yellow, all details of anchors in white (using light gray shadows).

The reverse side of the flag of St. Petersburg is a mirror image of its front side.
