Description[]
The flag of Stein is diagonally divided from hoist-bottom to fly-top by a black stripe; in the yellow hoist-corner a red lozenge, the fly is red.
Symbolism[]
The black stripe symbolizes the black horse of St. Martin. The red lozenge the lords of Stein, who had seven lozenges on their arms. The colours come from the municipal coat of arms of Stein.
