Sultan Kudarat (Jawi: سولتان كودرت), officially the Province of Sultan Kudarat, is a province in the Philippines located in the Soccsksargen region in Mindanao.
Description[]
The flag of Sultan Kudarat is designed based on the provincial seal of the province. It features a central stylized emblem in light green that combines the alphasyllabic glyphs "su" (ᜐᜓ) and "ku" (ᜃᜓ) of the pre-Hispanic Baybayin script, both sharing a kudlit (diacritical mark) that indicates the vowel "u".
The central symbol is flanked by two other stylized elements: a single upright panicle of rice colored gold on the hoist side; and a single upright frond of an African palm in emerald green on the fly. Both of these elements are placed above two texts that read "LALAWIGAN NG SULTAN KUDARAT" and "1973", both in black and of equal font size.
