The flag of Tartu County is the flag of Tartu County in Estonia.

The flag was registered on September 25, 1996.

Design[]

The flag of Tartu County consists of two horizontal widths of equal width, the upper edge of which is white and the lower one green. In the middle of the white plateau is the coat of arms of Tartu County.

The width / length ratio of the flag is 7:11 and the normal size is 105 × 165 cm.

Description of the coat of arms[]

On a left-halved blue-green shield (blue PMS 285 C, green 355 C) with a sloping distribution, a silver corrugated beam with two blue corrugated rods. A six-branched golden star in the upper, blue field and a golden oak branch with three leaves and two barrels in the lower, green field.

The current design of the coat of arms dates back to 1937, when the county coats of arms were harmonized, and it was drawn by Günther Reindorff.
