The Actual Flag of Ternopil Oblast Is Official Since November 18, 2003.
The flag is a rectangular blue cloth with an aspect ratio of 2: 3, in the middle there is a yellow sword and a key laid crosswise, above them there are three white towers.

the Previous Flag is a rectangular panel with a parity of the parties as 2:3 consists of two horizontal strips - yellow and blue in the ratio 1:2. On the yellow strip are three white towers with the open gate. On the blue strip from free edge are crossed vertical yellow sword handle up and horizontal yellow key bit down and right.
