Terra de Miranda ('Land of Miranda'; Mirandese: Tierra de Miranda; Portuguese: Terras de Miranda) is the historical name of a 500 km² mesa in northeastern Portugal, lying on the border of Spain. It used to be an administrative division, today is a cultural region, home of the Mirandese language and culture.
Terra de Miranda has no official flag, but there are flag proposals for the region.
Proposals[]
Association for the Unity and Identity of the People of the Mirandese Motherland proposed a flag with a white cross and red and yellow cantons, and a variant with the coat of arms of Miranda de Douro in the center.
