The flag of Veraguas is prescribed by Resolution No. 12, adopted on 18 March 2019 by the Provincial Council and published on 13 May 2019 in the Panama official gazette, No. 28772-A.
The flag was by Manuel Salvador Álvarez, and presented for the first time on February 24, 1993, as a tribute to his daughter.
Design[]
In the center is the map of Veraguas and around it the stars symbolize the districts that make up the province. The blue color represents the sea that bathes its north and south coasts.
