The flag of Viljandi County consists of two horizontal widths of equal width, the upper edge of which is white and the lower one green. In the middle of the white plateau is the coat of arms of Viljandi County.
The width / length ratio of the flag is 7:11 and the normal size is 105 × 165 cm.
Description of the coat of arms[]
the shield is a Silver eagle with raised wings facing left on a blue shield, with golden legs and beak. The eagle holds a silver sword with a golden handle on its right foot, and the eagle has a green shield on its chest with three golden heads sprouting from one stalk.
