The Flag of Zaporizhia Oblast Is Official Since July 27, 2001.
The flag is crimson with a length to width ratio of 2: 3. In the center is the coat of arms of the region: a Cossack with a saber and a musket on a crimson shield, the shield is decorated with a mace, pernach, bunchuk, timpani. Crimson is the main color of the Cossack flags.
